Clara & Josh
Clara and Josh were married on a beautiful Memorial Day weekend at the Mill & Mine in Knoxville, TN. It’s fun to celebrate any wedding day, but we really love when we get to capture a special day for someone we know and love! We’ve known Clara for a while, so we were honored to be a part of her day! Clara was a stunning bride as she stepped into her dress that was adorned in lace from head to toe. A girl can’t marry her guy without her best girls by her side, and Clara had a TRIBE! We love a big wedding party, and Clara had twelve of her best girls cheering her on all day long. There’s nothing better than your girls pumping you up as you get ready to marry the man of your dreams!
Clara did a first look with her bridesmaids, her dad, and with her groom, and each time the reaction was the same--jaws dropping and “ooo’s” and “ahh’s” as Clara twirled around in her perfectly feminine gown. When Josh saw his bride for the first time they couldn’t contain their smiles and giggles as they knew they were about to get to spend forever loving one another.
As Clara’s father walked her down the aisle in their outdoor ceremony, the anticipation on Josh’s face was apparent. He was about to marry his best friend and couldn’t wait to spend forever with her. The couple remembered loved ones who couldn’t be with them on their special day by placing special items on the chairs where they would have sat during their ceremony. Clara and Josh’s love for one another and love for the Lord was woven throughout the ceremony. They took communion together in remembrance of Jesus’s sacrifice for them and the way their lives have been changed because of their relationships with Him. What a sweet way to begin their marriage! As they were presented as husband and wife for the first time and as Josh got to kiss his bride, the perfect breeze blew through the courtyard of the Mill & Mine, lightly blowing Clara’s veil in the best bridal fashion. Clara and Josh danced their way back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Campbell, pumping their fists to the sky in celebration.
The celebration continued into the night with their friends and family during the reception. They ate and drank and danced with JOY during the first few hours of their marriage. We hope that’s just a glimpse into the joy that is to come for the Campbells! As the night came to an end, the couple was sent off with a sparkler exit. Josh dipped and kissed his bride as they ran off to their happily ever after.
